Bazu - I know what you mean. One of the reasons being a parent scares the you-know-what out of me is that I just don't know if I could put in the selfless time and energy like my mom did. She was amazing! Oh, and you should absolutely go check out the equestrian program at your school. Even just to swing by and pat a couple of noses.:)

Aren't parents great? You and i were so lucky to get some caring ones. This post pretty much dedicated to your mom is beautiful. My parents as well, i believe, should get badges of merit as well... and they continue to be my strongest supporters... Your taking time to appreciate them and show 'em some love back is really wonderful.

Love seeing your mom on that horse. Great stories, too, that you share about your times spent with her and the horses over the years. Great insight into your world...

Sounds like a fascinating day. I really don't know anything about horses or riding horses, even though the college I part-time teach at has a really great equine program. Just one more thing to add to the list of "must investigate"...

I hear what you say about dedicated parents. One of the many things keeping me from having kids is, I honestly don't know how much time and energy I would/could devote to them! Patience is not one of my virtues. Kudos to your mom and dad!
